Does anyone have a bleed kit for Hayes 9 disc brakes? Or something compatible? This would be the first time I've done this on a mtb (done on car before). Seems like I need two sections of hose, one from a fluid filler bottle and the other to a fluid bleed/drain bottle.

Thanks for any tips or sources

You're lucky, those are super easy to bled. Just get a syringe and attach a hose between it and the Caliper, make sure the bleed port on the lever is the highest point in the system, pull the plug, open the bleeder screw at the Caliper and push the plunger until you get clean, air free fluid out the bleeder hole. Bring plenty of rags, throw some junk pads in so ya don't ruin good ones, make sure to clean the disc with brake cleaner after. Of course there are probably YouTube vids that make much more sense...now if you wanna bleed avid brakes....keep a suicide note handy...
