Just a reminder that bow season is now open in Mass. Be mindful of when and where you ride.
West Millbury aka Singletary is primarily private land with an owner who takes full advantage of the deer in there so please avoid riding there until Jan. 1.

Not all hunters are limiting themselves to bows in Millbilly so watch out for the flying hunks of metal too.

Yeah, it's turkey (and all other sorts of flying bird) season too.

So I was looking at the hunting schedule

http://www.naba.org/chapters/nabambc/do ... hedule.pdf

and noticed this in the lower left hand corner

Landowner Liability
Any landowner permitting use of his
or her property for recreation without
charging a fee is not liable for injuries to
recreational users of the property except
in cases of willful, wanton or reckless
conduct by the owner. (MGL Ch. 21 ยง 17C)

Many of you probably knew that already.

For those that did NOT click on Steve's link :
Shotgun season is Dec 2nd till the 14th ! It's later this year !!!
Primitive firearms runs till Dec 31st !!!

SOUTHBRIDGE TRAILS:
After contacting the Environmental Police and SCHOTT NORTH AMERICA :
There IS hunting allowed , the private properties have NOT been posted !
SCHOTT NORTH AMERICA mandates wearing Hunter Orange when using their trails !!! ( Except Sunday's )
THERE IS A TREE STAND OUT THERE ! Be smart and don't get shot ...
I will be posting temporary signage soon indicating this as well at the trail heads .
Don't let me catch you out there either without Orange ! ( Except Sunday's )
