Mike C. is correct.
This is the ribbon candy area of Plummers Landing. The winter pics are 1969, the Bug pic 1971. This used to be known locally as Pine Tree Trust an old gravel pit and a popular drinking and partying spot in the days when the cops would say " You've been drinking, go home........and drive slowly." Sorry JA, times have changed.
There was a grass runway airstrip there too.
I got these from a friend who posted them on the Facebook site: Blackstone Valley Reminiscent Society. There are lots of great old local pictures there.

Mike C, one of the cars in ribbon candy was Bryan Gareu's pinto. Gone now, the scrap metal guy's got almost everything out of there this summer.
