I've had a couple of the Magicshine lights die on me, e.g. the light-head not battery (this time), and have replaced them with the more of the same for $45 each.

Has anyone had any success repairing a MS 900 light head, the MTBR forum suggests replacing the 'P7' element?

thanks

Jack

You should ask over here: http://forums.mtbr.com/lights-diy-do-yourself/
My limited knowledge says that the P7 is the actual LED emitter and you'd replace it as part of the circular board within the light head. You'll need to do some soldering. Lots of Magicshine dissection pictures on the MTBR forums will help. Good luck.
