FYI , 2011 Pugsley complete bikes are now available for purchase/ordering through Southbridge Bike , mine came in this past Tuesday but it's still in the box , hopefully I'll have it to demo by the weekend and give you a report . When I opened the box , all I could see were the 2 tires !!!!

Are you gonna mount that to your trainer for the winter?

OK , took it out for a 10 mile spin at Hodges: (Stopped to show Lou too)
This is a 37lb bike w/pedals , full rigid , 5 lbs of tire pressure today . Overall tire diameter is about a 1/4" under a 29er tire .

Slow speed climbs are awesome , the tires just wrap around whatever , especially roots !

High speed , tends to bounce and doesn't give it a good chance to grab even at 5 psi in the tires , but it still stuck ...

Didn't like pine needles on the climbs

Descents are as fast as a full suspension rig - well as fast as I usually go ( shut-up TP )

Low tire pressure feels like steering dampening on turns & obstacles , which is a good thing

Sand - what's sand ?

Mud - not much mud today but it didn't sink in whatever I could find .

Overall a fun bike today , I'm going to demo it out in Douglas tomorrow and give another report . For the 1st time in my life I can honestly say I can't wait for the snow ride !

19 mile ride today in Douglas:

If anyone asks ... you CAN pinch flat a 4.0 tire , I had a feeling I shoulda went from 5lbs to 7 or maybe even 8lbs today , but I didn't .

Lot of rolling resistance so expect a workout , only slipped a couple of times , gotta learn to slow down in the technical so the tires don't bounce like basketballs . Still a fun bike for a full rigid at that place !
