 Post subject: Another GARY "fissure"

Yes, another one bites the dust. For those of you on HiFi's, check out your chainstays up near the bottom bracket. I found a half inch hair line crack just outside of the weld. I didn't see it until I took my rear wheel off and really cleaned it up.

Bikeman has got Salsa Big Mama frames on sale for $599.00 with shock and seat collar, might be a quick way to get back on your bikes for a reasonable amount of money. It does not look like Fisher has replacements available anytime soon. :x

Hmmmm, no problems with the Specialized frames yet......guess an extra 1/2 pound of metal is worth it. Or I don't ride mine hard enough :mrgreen:

Never did get a chance to take mine out last night for a beating , however when I flipped it over to take the wheel off for Ben to take a pic of the 2 smaller cracks , there was a huge crack on the drive side underneath and another stress crack horizontaly , he said one more big hit and I woulda been walking .
