Granite Basin is located about 8 miles Northwest of Prescott , Arizona off Iron Springs Rd.
Trail Maps available in the parking area.
Elevation is high here , you'll get up to 6,000' on the last trail listed . We did this in late March , the local bike shop said we could not have picked a better area for that time of the year .
35% smooth single track , 60% rocky but rideable single track , the rest some wide open areas .
Must do trail is #347 in a northerly direction , fast gradual downhill for 3+ miles ! You can easily do all of them in a one day ride , Mike T. and I did 90% of them before we had to hi-tail to California.
The loop we did that day , from the parking area ( Wekuvde ) , 351 southeast to 347 , 347 to 345 south to 352 , 352 to 348 , 348 back onto 351 , 351 to 349 , 349 back to the parking area . Definately had a blast that day and would do it again in a heart beat .

This is my bike , there are many like it but this one is mine !

This is like getting a letter that was lost in the mail for a year.
It's nice to be reminded of Prescott.
Warm weather and dry trails in March..............I still love New England but...
