Location: Just a tad over the double yellow line officer
Real Name (public): WTF
Harbison State Forest is located a few miles northwest of Columbia,SC on Highway 176 ( Broad River Rd ).
Trail maps available in the parking area , a small fee is requested of you ($3)
24% smooth single track , 1 rocky section , 75% double track .
Must do single track is "Lost Creek Trail" , which is across Lost Creek Drive ( ya gotta cross the road ) Another one is "Spider Woman II Trail" .
Got in 24 miles but it was fast . Pretty much followed the outer perimeter trails on the map .
If it was all single track I'd give it a 9 , the single track was fast and fun ... but I got to give it a 5 cause of all the double track . The only reason I ended up here was my first choice was closed due to hunting season . Would I go back ? If I was passing through I would , yes , but I wouldn't make a special trip out of it.
